Took the bus from Sydney CBD to Bondi beach. It's not very far, maybe 20 minutes by public transit. It started raining miserably while we were on the bus, so we ran straight into a restaurant on the shore. Had yummy Asian soups while waiting out the rain. And then the beach!
Rolled up my pants and Stepped out into the water. The beach was beautiful, and I'm sure much emptier than usual - pretty much us, a handful of tourists and suffers. We walked along the beach to this cool mosaic wall near te tide pools.
Right know just enjoying an ice-cream cone at McDonalds while checking email. Will head back to the city soon, and possibly check out the aquarium which Hope has heard goodthings about.
