Day 24 - HongKong

Starting this post while still at the Auckland Airport - but figure it'll only get posted along with the last two New Zealand posts once I arrive in HongKong and have free wifi in the airport, so it totally counts. Actually still pretty chill about the delay, but that may totally be the sleep deprivation. Not to mention the overfilled stomach. Had a huge breakfast at subway, in an attempt to fully use up the meal voucher they gave me. Still have a leftover cookie in my purse. At this point, I don't think I'd be able to eat anything they gave me on the plane.

Did a little bit of shopping to use up my NZ dollars - bought these fancy cough drops that have NZ honey and kiwifruit in them, which totally counts as a practical purchase as my throat is still a bit sore. The fact that I bought two packs and then a matching hand-cream, charging the overflow to credit card, is completely incidental :) Realized that I may have sent back some of the little gifts I meant to give during my trip home with Hope.

I'm a bit concerned about the weather in HongKong. I'm hoping it clears up enough by tomorrow to allow a little sightseeing. Otherwise I'll just have to spend the whole time shopping. And catching up on my sleep.

Long flight. Though I do like the service on Cathay. Yummy food, noodle snack, and a good entertainment system. I think I'll embrace the plane rides I have ahead as opportunities to catch up on food, tv, and possibly rest.

Currently in the mega long immigration line. Yay for free wifi :) not to mention having a cellphone I can actually use again.

The weather looked grey but dry outside the plane. Hopefully will get out of here in time to do a bit of exploring after checking in to my hotel.
